City of Birmingham Rockets Basketball Club works on the principle that they are a ‘chosen’ family, open to all, playing, working and socialising together in the spirit that, what they have to offer is in line with their motto, ‘More than a game’. 

At City of Birmingham Rockets Basketball Club, their mission is to ignite passion, inspire excellence, and support their community through the power of basketball. They are committed to developing athletes of all ages and abilities promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship both on and off the court.

By creating a positive, inclusive, and competitive environment, their aim is to elevate the game of basketball in Birmingham and empower players to realise their full potential while enriching the wider community through outreach, education, and a shared love of the sport.

McArthurGlen West Midlands have worked closely with Lichfield Festival since 2021 to provide inspiring multi-arts experiences for thousands of people from the Midlands.

The partnership has seen HelloHipHop perform at the designer outlet as part of a Festival pop-up and 2023 saw a three-day Literature pop-up event at the Centre.  Which included the viral and phenomenal #DrawWithRob of Rob Biddulph fame, Staffordshire’s Poet Laureate Dawn Jutton, and Sunday Times best-selling author, Phillipa Ashley.
